My Niche
I am a passionate academic with an MLS/MA in Journalism. I love connecting people with research and communicating the value of libraries to current/prospective library users.
Professional Experience
During my undergraduate education, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, so writing has been a critical part of my career from the very beginning. For my Master of Arts Degree in Journalism, I completed a thesis, combining my love of writing and research.
As an academic librarian, I write reports, assist in the design of packets for new faculty, design bi-annual newsletters, and write freelance articles for professional journals.
COMMUNICATION
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of speaking at state/national library conferences. Sharing my library's successes with others is a great way to advance the profession.
